Regular doses of mindfulness, served up in a calm, scenic location. Mini retreats designed to encourage and inspire those new to mindfulness and those with some experience.

At each retreat, there is a balance of information sharing and plenty of opportunity to practise using mindfulness in a range of non-threatening exercises. People tend to favour different types of exercises when they are learning mindfulness, so each retreat will have a variety for participants to try out. Participation is always voluntary, just observing is an option.

For those already practicing mindfulness, the retreats offer a place to come and be inspired to continue, to ask questions and to talk to others that are using mindfulness regularly.

As an occupational therapist, my particular style of teaching mindfulness fits well with those who are wanting strategies to cope better with physical illness or emotional distress, however the benefits are not limited to this. Mindfulness has been found to be beneficial in reducing stress, anxiety and depression, improving relationships, changing addictive behaviours, and increasing well-being. It is best learnt by participating, experiencing it first-hand.

Come to one retreat or all, for ongoing mindfulness input.

Please contact Jo Wall on 021 266 5657 or jo-wall@outlook.com for more details or to register for the next retreat.
