Members' Preview: Wonderland

Join us for this free and exclusive preview of Wonderland before it opens to the general public. Fall down the rabbit hole into an immersive exhibition celebrating Lewis Carroll’s timeless tale and Alice’s adventures on film.

We will have access to gallery for 3 hours so please come any time you like, we recommend allowing 75 minutes to view the exhibition.

Since first gracing the silver screen in 1903, Alice has delighted audiences of all ages in more than 40 arthouse and blockbuster cinematic odysseys. Wonderland explores how this precocious hero inspired revolutionary filmmaking, from groundbreaking special effects and animation to evocative storytelling and technological development. In this must-see event, take a trip through the looking glass into an immersive, enchanted world that draws together a remarkable selection of original behind-the-scenes material. The exhibition was developed by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
