We all want to have a calm and peaceful mind and daily meditation is the best way to learn to be peaceful. However new habits can be hard to develop and many people find establishing a daily practice difficult. To help you start 2019 in a positive and meaningful way we invite you to take the meditation challenge.
Taught by qualified Kadampa Buddhist teachers, each session will consist of a brief teaching and two guided meditations.
You can either pre-register or drop in to any session.
Challenge sessions:
Saturday, 5 January: 9.30 – 10.30am, Developing Inner Peace with Kelsang Lachpa
Saturday, 5 January: 11am – 12noon, Improving Our Meditation with Rachael Steele
Sunday, 6 January: 9.30 – 10.30am, Love with Michele Lint
Sunday, 6 January: 11am – 12noon, Compassion with Kwai Chan
Monday, 7 January: 7 – 8pm, Reducing Anger with Kelsang Lachpa
Tuesday, 8 January: 7 – 8pm, Acceptance with Rachael Steele
Wednesday, 9 January: 7 – 8pm, Forgiveness with Kelsang Shechog
Thursday, 10 January: 7 – 8pm, Gratitude and Kindness with Kelsang Shechog
