One of New Zealand’s greatest musicians, Shayne Carter, examines what it takes to write a brilliant song, the ones he loves, the ones he hates, the best ones he’s written, and the ones he wishes he’d written.

Shayne has been a star of New Zealand music for the last 40 years. Through early bands Bored Games and the DoubleHappys, to Straitjacket Fits and Dimmer, he has produced a string of incredible hits and New Zealand classics.

Shayne's brand new, incredibly funny and moving autobiography is called Dead People I Have Known.
