Franklin Arts Centre is excited to present a series of free workshops open to all tamariki under 13 and their families to expand their knowledge of Te Ao Māori through art.

Working alongside Māori artist Jean Yern you'll be using a mixture of her wood cuts to create your own Matariki designed t-shirt or paper print.

We have 10 spaces available for t-shirt printing and 10 spaces available for paper printing. All materials will be provided for free but you must register as these workshops will fill up fast!

To register your interest please email us at franklinartscentre@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with your name, contact details, whether you would like to make a Kākahu (t-shirt) print or a Pepa (paper) print and your preferred workshop day.
