Wanted: Detectives needed to solve a Matariki Mystery in the Government Gardens!
These July School Holidays, Rotorua Museum is bringing back the popular Crack the Code free activity trail which will have kids learning more about Matariki and exploring the beautiful Government Gardens.
Activity trails will be available from Saturday 6 July and can be collected from Rotorua iSite (Fenton Street) or from the Pop Up Shop (1201 Eruera Street) during drop-in crafts (8-12 July and 15-19 July 2019, 10am until 2pm).
From native plants to the insects, the Matariki activity trail will turn you into a detective as you dig deeper to solve the clues. Once you have found all seven answers you will need to return to the Rotorua iSite to see if your mystery code will open the safe and allow you to enter into the prize draw.
Entries need to be in by 5pm on Sunday 21 July for the prize draw.
