Make a Magnetic Compass

Magnetic compasses have been used for thousands of years to navigate. Join us at Central for a special science event to explore properties of magnetism and learn how to make a simple compass using just a magnet and needle. We will then use the compass to navigate the library basement.

This is a school holiday event. All ages welcome, 7+ preferred as a needle will be used.
