Māmā In Arms - Getting Pregnant Milestone

Your very first milestone in your motherhood journey can be overwhelming.
- What are the basics to know about getting pregnant?
- What's the role of my mental health?
- Can too much fitness hinder my efforts?
- Is nutrition worth learning about?
- PCOS, Endometriosis, etc... what are my options?
- Who can I talk to?

Come along to our Getting pregnant group discussion to explore topics around:
Fertility. Nutrition. Fitness. Mental health. Well-being.

Then go home armed with:
- a fresher perspective
- a plan to action
- a map of the local services that can support you on your journey
- a network of women you can relate to

For 5 weeks, from October 10th, we will be holding a series of not-for-profit group discussions on the topics of mothers' care, well-being and self-development.

These events will follow the milestones of the motherhood journey:
Getting pregnant, Pregnancy, Birth & Breastfeeding or Not, Postnatal care and Self-development
...and gather local service providers to facilitate the conversation around a comprehensive list of subjects like fertility, mental health, nutrition, fitness, relaxation, career and even libido.

Each event will be live-streamed and each recording will be donated to charities supporting Kiwi families who can’t afford specialist care.

We'd like to shine a light on the passionate mother care service providers that operate in our neighbourhood - some are far from being social media influencers or internet savvy, yet they hold expertise and talent that deserved to be acknowledged.

Let us show you how they can support you along your Motherhood journey.

It's your chance to ask your questions and to find out if they resonate with your mothering instincts.

Format: "campfire sessions" - no staged venue, no powerpoint. If you're on the introvert side like me, you'll find this format ideal - it's designed to allow you to ask your questions without fearing public speaking. All the facilitators and service providers will be amongst the attendees.

A warm welcome - however, make sure to be there on time as we will start the session at 7PM sharp.

Refreshments and light catering - let us know if you've got food allergies/intolerances, we'll do our best to cater to your needs.
