Brilliant Amalia Hall (violin) plays in for sister Lara Hall with NZ Chamber Soloists Katherine Austin (piano) and James Tennant (cello) in a recital to open with the legendary Ghost Piano Trio by Beethoven; include the melancholic lyricism of Rachmaninov’s Trio No. 1; and then treat us to a Greek island sojourn with Corybas, written for the trio and inspired by the Greek heritage of internationally acclaimed NZ composer, John Psathas.
