Northart is privileged to be showcasing a collection of mostly small sculpture by acclaimed designer, the late Logan Brewer.
Drawn from his ‘Waitematā’ series, they display alongside several highly coloured reliefs that were a precursor to the series. When the ‘Waitematā’ sculptures were first shown at Northart in 2013, they were described by art historian Amy Stewart as “the perfect balance between simplicity, complexity, and sheer easy beauty”.
