Level Up - Online/Offline - Making Games in Webpages

An introduction to using JavaScript for developing games. Starting with an Etch-a-Sketch style programme, we’ll explore how using clear commands can turn drawings ito animations, and learn how to use our MediaWiki plugins to see, run and modify games from within a wiki.

From there, we’ll work together to develop new game ideas and find easy ways to solve problems as they come up!

Led by gaming industry professionals, the Level Up workshops cover everything from mobile gaming to physical game-making workshops. Part of the NZ Games Festival, you’ll take your gaming (online or irl) to the next level!
