Level Up - Making Games with Gamefroot

Watch and learn as game developers from Gamefroot show you how to create a multi-level video game like Super Mario Bros, using kiwi styles and set in a fantasy-based New Zealand setting.

This workshop is for young rangatahi aged 9-10 who are curious about making video games. No previous coding experience is necessary. You’ll walk away with your own published New Zealand themed video game, some practical hands-on industry design tips and the ability to continue working on your game from home.

Led by gaming industry professionals, the Level Up workshops cover everything from mobile gaming to physical game-making workshops. Part of the NZ Games Festival, you’ll take your gaming (online or irl) to the next level!
