Get ready for the 3rd annual Le Café Open Ear Jazz Festival!
Longer, harder, wilder and sharper than ever!! Our concept of un- rehearsed, un-charted live composition on the spot, is making waves across the globe, as we've found out!
Artists from near and far have praised the idea of absolute commitment to freshness, home-made, spur of the moment creation! In fact, the idea has been copied and translated into other settings already. Not a jam session- intellectually, more of a panel discussion at the highest level.
So much so, that world renowned Italian violinist Luca Ciarla (SolOrkestra), globetrotting NYC based Dutch double bass player Joris Teepe (Trio of Liberty), as well as German Pianist Stefan Nagler (Peter Herbolzheimer Tribute Band) are willing to travel all the way to New Zealand to be part of this ground braking concept.
