Lōemis 2019: Feast of Seven Fishes

Field & Green, winner of 2018’s Best Festival Dish award at Wellington on a Plate, present this unmatched seven course degustation. The meal is based around the Feast of Seven Fishes, a modern day celebration that emerged out of pagan winter solstice traditions in Roman times.

Venue layout by Jen Eccles. Live music performed by Justin Firefly (bouzouki) and Tristan Carter (fiddle). All fish sustainably caught and provided by Yellow Brick Road. And for dessert? A new take on New Zealand’s iconic chocolate fish, designed, handcrafted and prepared individually by Laura Greenfield.
