Friday 10 May, 6.30 – 8.30 pm, at WEA, Saturday 11 May, 10 am – 4 pm, at Phillipstown Community Hub, $30 - includes cost of all materials and ingredients.

Simon Gray has a mission – to change the world by baking bread! Join him on the Friday evening at the WEA to find out about his incredible project “A Communal Loaf”. In this session you will learn something of the history and importance of bread making and hear about some amazing community projects from around the globe.

Then turn your hand to learning about and making sourdough ready for baking the following day. The Saturday session will be held at the Phillipstown community hub where participants will help Simon fire up the communal brick bread oven, learn about baking in a wood fired oven before sharing some of the freshly baked bread together. You will also get to take home a beautiful sourdough loaf to share with friends and family. Limit of 10.
