Kintsugi Art Exhibition

Mairangi Bay Community Church is holding a Kintsugi Art Exhibition from 26th to 31st of October.
(Special service on Sunday. 9-10am, 10:30-11:30am, 12-1pm.)

Kintsugi is a Japanese traditional art of repairing broken potteries by mending the broken area with lacquer and applying the gold powder on the seam.

It is a Christian relational art as we created together with many volunteers, and you'll see more than 100 kintsugi plates beautifully displayed.

We all have weaknesses, or times when we feel broken in our lives, but that is an area that shows history of our lives and God is able to not only restore it but changes it to something valuable and beautiful.


You will encounter many people's life stories & testimonies at the exhibition, and we trust that you'll be encouraged and inspired in many ways.
