Kerrie Hughes - Saga, 40 Mile Bush
Kerrie Hughes’ paintings draw from her background in fashion design and reflect a visual saga of her ancestors, who came to NZ from “Old World Zealand” in Denmark to settle the 40 Mile Bush. The large paintings on hessian are influenced by Verdure Tapestries.

Settled By the Land - Scandinavian Settlement In the Wairarapa
A supporting exhibition with 19th century photographs, large two-handed saws, and other historical materials from the Wairarapa Archive and the Aratoi collection.

Exhibition continues until 9th October - open daily 10am - 4pm.
