Join us at this screening of Jojo Rabbit to help raise funds for the 2020 Wellington Pride Festival. Not only do we have a wonderful movie on offer, a kiwi-directed film challenging blind nationalism through satire, we will have plenty of goodies to auction off prior to the screening. So come along, grab a drink at the cinema bar and open your wallets to a wonderful cause - to put on a great festival for the Wellington queer community in February 2020. The Festival includes Out in the Park, Youth Ball, Pride Picnic and a range of events organised by the Wellington queer community.
Auction prizes will be revealed close to the night.

Writer-director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, Hunt for The Wilderpeople), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, Jojo Rabbit, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
