Island Summer

Since 1993, Pacific Underground have been sharing stories of Pasifika peoples living and growing up in Aotearoa, through music, theatre and events.

Island Summer, inspired by family, presents traditional songs of Samoa and New Zealand in contemporary arrangements for a guitar orchestra and band.

Pacific Underground are fearless supporters of Pacific performing arts. In 2016, they were presented with a lifetime achievement award at the 2016 Pacific Island Music Awards.
