In Motion: The Moving Parts of Contemporary Art

This exhibition explores ideas of movement, motion and interactivity through the contemporary art practices of Sara Hughes, Tiffany Singh, Rebecca Baumann, David Haines and Joyce Hinterding. In this family-friendly, hands on exhibition, we bring together works from the Gallery's collection with external loans and new commissions.

In Motion invites audiences to explore kinetic sculpture, use their body and action to move through a three dimensional world, be part of a reciprocal exchange aimed to support a community organization; and use colourful magnetic shapes to create an evolving artwork on the gallery walls.
