How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Get into the Christmas spirit here at the Otago Museum with a screening of Dr Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium.

All of the residents of Whoville enjoy celebrating Christmas, except for one, the Grinch. Because of his heart, that is two sizes too small, the Grinch doesn’t have any festive cheer. Annoyed by the joy and the Christmas carols, the Grinch makes plans to ruin Christmas for the people of Whoville, but six-year-old Cindy Lou Who won't give up on finding the Grinch's Christmas spirit.

The film will be preceded by a special 15-minute Grinch-themed science demo! Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.
