Hororata Parish Spring Fair

The Hororata Parish Spring Fair, Labour Day is one of the 'must do's' for many families in the Selwyn District. An easy drive in the countryside is rewarded with impromptu family fun, free entry, and free parking! A chance for everyone to put away the devices.

You are sure to find a treasure or two at the unique ‘White Elephant in the Stables’ or the Country Auction, with our infamous stock auctioneer! Plenty of rides and activities to keep the kids entertained, live music and prizes.

Great stalls that focus on handmade crafts and speciality food. Plants galore from some of mid-Canterbury’s homestead gardens, along with a large selection of second-hand books.

The church host a great BBQ where you can feed all the troops, or enjoy a cuppa with some home-made goodies. Grab a seat, a bite to eat and enjoy the local musical talents.
