Arthaus is pleased to present Home Coming. This is the first solo exhibition by Robert Looker since his return to New Zealand.

”We are all migrants, immigrants or refugees, or descendants of one or the other.
As a result of globalisation, communications and technology we live in a world that is growing smaller every day. Many of us are born in one place, live our childhood years in another and then live out our adult years somewhere else again.
It is natural to aspire for a better home, better for ourselves, our children and our children’s children. But is it natural to think the grass is greener on the other side of town, ocean or world?
Like many before me I ask the question: where, and what is home?”
