History of Germany

Germany has a rich and varied history. From ancient Germania, through being part of other empires, reigning as the Holy Roman Empire, dissolution into dozens of little states, reunification, and driving several events of the 20th century.

This course will look at modern Germany's heritage as a nation going from the edge of ancient civilization to the centre of European affairs for over a thousand years.
