Hawkes Bay Jazz Club Big Band & Bella Kalolo Jazz 2019

The Hawkes Bay Jazz Club Big Band With Special Guest Bella Kalolo.

Bella has worked with numerous perfromers both locally and internationally, added her vocal skill to projects featuring Renee Gayer, Nathan Haines, John Rowles, Dave Dobbyn, Delta Goodrem, Tina Cross, Frankie Stevens, Hollie Smith and Don McGlashan.

While the Hawke’s Bay Jazz Club has had several Big bands over the years, the current band is the longest – serving of them all having started in 1991 with well known Napier musicians, the late Ernie Rouse the driving force behind it.

The band rehearses weekly and members come from all over the Hawke’s Bay including Central HB – to attend both practises and performances. The band has performed at the Napier annual Art Deco Weekend, The Hastings Blossom Festival, Jazz in the Park and several trips overseas including Vanuatu, Surfers Paradise and Fiji.
