Making its triumphant return to Takapuna Beach, the Harcourts Cooper & Co King of the Bays is back! Our most popular event location has a special place in our hearts and it feels awesome to be back on home turf.

After taking a break, we’re stoked to be back now that we’re confident you’ll be safely enjoying one of New Zealand’s most recognisable beaches. The list of swim experiences is going to blow your mind, no matter your age, ability or appetite for a personal challenge that suits you. From kids to seasoned salties, this is going to be a day to remember.

We’ll be kicking off the day with the ever popular 2.8km from Milford to Takapuna, before getting into the biggest program of swims we’ve ever had! Based at Takapuna Beach, will be the 500 metre and 1000 metre events as well as Banana Boat OceanKids for the youngsters.

Dash for Cash in our brand new event, The $print! Up your game at the beach this summer with our all new event—‘The $print’—a 200m out and back ‘splash for cash’ event! That’s right…we have cold, hard cash up for grabs at six of our seven events this season and the first time we hold The $print, will be at the Harcourts Cooper & Co King of the Bays. Get ready for an awesome showdown between our fastest swimmers.
