In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to shape and control flash light to make your shots stand out.

We will be covering the basics of studio light quality, direction and mixing flash with ambient light when on location.

It's easier than you think using the world's smallest studio light - the Profoto A1. However, these principles will apply to any type of flash light.

This is a 4-hour workshop where we will spend the first half demonstrating and explaining light shaping techniques, in the second part you will have hands-on experience with various lighting set up.

The workshop is suitable for all levels but will most benefit those who have a basic knowledge of working photographic principles such as:
- A basic understanding of what shutter speed, aperture and ISO are
- Some experience with flash will be advantageous but not required

Spaces are limited, so please sign up early!

Time:
1:00pm – 5:00pm
Small break half way, some drinks and light snacks will be provided

Parking:
A selected amount of free dedicated parking is available (marked with Topic signage), first come first served. Or paid council car parking is available.

Important
This is a pre-pay only workshop. We will not be able to take any payments on the day of the workshop. Please select Paypal or Online banking upon Checkout.
