Grooves In The Garden: Retro Market and Soul Picnic

Enjoy your lazy summer Sunday with an entree of sweet old-school music spun by15 vinyl DJs across 3 stages, mains buffet of 60+ vendors at the giant retro market and 3rd course with several hand-picked food trucks or BYO picnic with your fam at this Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival event.

It's all about beats, eats and retro treats!

Pavillon:
Welcome to the coolest retro market Hamilton has seen. We have a massive record fair with traders from around the country, alongside stallholders for all sorts of collectibles from retro gaming, books, action figures, comics, toys, fashion, crown lynn and everything in between! The whole pavilion will be jam-packed so get there early for bargains.

Please note most stalls are cash operated and it is gold coin entry for the market pavilion.

Rhododendron Lawn:
The New Zealand Northern Soul Weekender crew are taking over the decks in the rhodo lawn so bring your dancing shoes and spin yourself dizzy to Northern Soul, 60s R'n'B and 70s Soul all on vinyl. Our hand-picked food trucks and pop-up bar are located here too if you want to relax and catch some amazing grub.

Oval Green / Lakeside:
The NZ Soul All Dayer DJ collective are taking over the lakeside stage with an all star cast of funk, soul and general oldschool agents. Have a kanikani, play some lawn games or kick your feet up on the oval green.
