Getting Out There Expo - Disability & Seniors Expo

Tiaho Trusts host a bi-annual Seniors and Disability ‘Getting Out There – Enabling Recreation & Leisure Expo’.

This is the only type of Expo in Northland that specifically provides for Senior Citizens and People with Disabilities in regard to services, equipment etc available to them.

There will be over 50 stalls showcasing service providers, equipment and community groups and business that assist people with disabilities and/or senior citizens.

We invite the public to the opening by our Mayor at 10am and to enjoy the expo. This is an opportunity to find out what you need to know about services and recreational activities available in Northland.

There will be food available to purchase, a fashion show at 1pm with our 10-15 Disabled Youth being escorted by local College Ambassadors.
