Join Jennifer Mallinson as she takes a modern journey across Italy in the path of the 2nd New Zealand Division.

Join us for a cuppa from 5pm.

From disembarking in 1943 Taranto, peacekeeping in the political hotbed of Trieste, and disbanding after the war, the impressions and experiences of the soldiers are recalled as they passed through the land, including the action areas of Abruzzo and Cassino.

Using the military and political historical context, Jennifer explains the story of the Kiwi experience, embellished by personal reflections and notes on the physical and cultural environment. Interesting ‘detours’ to irresistible and often hidden attractions are included!

Booking is not essential but is recommended.
To book please phone Research Central on 09 890 2412 or book online.
