Fête de la Musique

Enjoy free musical performances around Hamilton in honour of the Fête de la Music (World Music Day) - an international movement to share the joy of live music. Originating in France, the movement has spread globally.

We are pleased to have two brilliant acts in Garden Place:
11am-1pm: Art Gecko - a local group which includes a brass section and covers a huge variety of genres

From 1:15pm: Defeks - a folksy/bluesy group

Rip down early Saturday morning and catch these performers in full flight.

The fête has been organised by Gerry Clark with help from the Hamilton Blues Society and local muzos, and is supported by the Alliance Française de Hamilton.
