Meet the Artist – Nicola Bennett
Nicola Bennett is an English artist living and working in Okere Falls, New Zealand. In 2007 Bennett completed her Masters of Fine Arts with First Class Honours at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design, Auckland. Her work is held in private collections in New Zealand, South Africa and England.

“I am an abstract painter working on mainly large canvas’ in mixed media – oils, acrylics, spray paint and pastels. My passion for fine art is influenced by fine food.

I think of colours like flavours, and how they interact. The process is a playful search for beauty. I always know when a painting is finished; it is ready to eat with the eyes. A visual feast if you will."
