Kids rule on this day! Alongside our superb ticketed shows for families, we have a range of other free events designed especially to appeal to our junior audience members. Bring a picnic or grab something from one of our foodtrucks and stay for the whole day.
Admission by donation!
Teddy Bear’s Picnic – Rhododendron Lawn 11.30am – 3pm. A favourite festival event, featuring performances, arts and craft activities and of course the Teddy Parade!
Young Buskers Alley – Festival Hub 10am – 3pm. Are you a budding young (6 – 16 years old) busker? Come along and strut your stuff alongside other performers.
Uke Jam – Piazza 2pm. Bring your uke and strum along with your fellow players. All welcome and music provided.
Children’s Film Festival – Pavilion 10am – 3pm. Our local film experts, the Hamilton Film Society, have put together a delightful line-up of classic children’s films.
