Down Home Old-Time Good Time Concert

The Faustians - Helena Triplett Faust, her old timey banjo with Scott Pilgrim (Polly Johnson Set) providing deft guitar work, hypnotic rhythms and tight harmonies, Philip Muollo (nobody) on double bass and Helena weaving melodies on clawhammer banjo or fiddle, with vocals that may be described as ‘mountainy’ with a discernable West Virginian twang. Helena’s originals paint an eerie landscape, dark, but spiked with wry humour, and forged originals.
