193-19 Dances From the Courts of Renaissance Europe – Nicola Rooney.

Through studying and doing dances from this era, we learn about the society, clothing, and music fashionable at the time. We will cover French circle dances ("Branles"), English processional dances ("Almans"), and dances popular in the Italian courts in the 15th and 16th centuries.

No previous dance experience or historical knowledge is required for this class. Please enrol in advance as we need a minimum of four for this class to go ahead. Please note there will be no class on Tuesday 17 September.
