Community Classics Central: Light & Dark

Bring along the whole whānau for this free community concert with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra at the stunning Auckland Town Hall.

For this hour of colourful music, the APO spin the colour wheel and perform a selection of music that explores how concepts like ‘light’ and ‘dark’ are illustrated by some of the most well-known composers of the orchestral world.

The APO is proud to be performing a new work by Dr Charles Royal, which has been especially composed for this concert, as a part of APO’s Te Arapūoru Community Commission.
