Chinese Language Week at the Cable Car

Yes! This is a free interactive event hosted by Wellington Cable Car and the China Cultural Centre in Wellington in celebration of the NZ Chinese Language Week 2019!

Start your journey with a smooth ride on Wellington's famous Cable Car and watch Chinese themed light shows as you travel through the time-travelling tunnels...

You will learn the most authentic ways to make mouth-watering dumplings, and will not be going home with an empty stomach!

Event consists the following activities:
- Dumpling Making (Vegetarian option available)
- Tea Ceremony
- Chinese Calligraphy (learn how to write Chinese)
- Traditional Music Performance (GuZheng)

Join us for a Prize Draw towards the end of the event. Fill out a feedback form to be in the draw!
Event will begin at 5:30pm in the Cable Top Eatery. Please be here early to take the 5:20pm car up.
