We just love to dance and find it therapeutic at times. So if you want a chance to dance in a supportive environment then come join us.

The music is poppy and vibrant, the routines are low impact, aimed at beginners and include basic burlesque movement.

Wear what you feel comfortable in. We do get sweaty, layers are a good option.
These classes are R16 and open to all genders.

Every Wednesday night 7pm - 8pm at Studio One Nelson (keep an eye out for a Mums and Bubs session coming soon).
$12 a casual class to buy 4 consecutive classes for $40.

What should I wear?
Wear what ever you are comfortable in and can move freely in. Active wear is popular and layers are great as we tend to get sweaty,

Is there stripping?
Burlesque has striptease elements, however this class is similar to a burlesque zumba class. We get sweaty, move our bodies in our own way and have fun. There a 'burlesque basics' moves included in the dances, so one week we might include a chair , boa or pair of burlesque gloves.

How do I find Studio One?
Studio on is nestled just off Hardy st.
Head to Golden Bell Thai on Hardy St and head down the lane. Studio One is written on the window. Or park on Selwyn Place and walk through the Rutherford Mews walk way.

There is no available parking down the lane.
