Learn to make your own bug hotel out of discarded wood. We will run a session on how to use a drill and sander before assembling the final product.
Paints will be provided for design.Kids will learn how to pre-drill holes and then screw together. It can then be stuffed for those lovely insects and decorated to your taste.
Parents are asked to stay and help for kids younger than 8 years.
The Recreator's mission is to move consumers away from new and mass-produced items, toward upcycled goods, by helping them develop the skills they need to make their own. We believe that the positivity of creative upcycling will help save our planet and bring us all closer together.
This workshop will provide all of the tools and re-purposed materials you need to make your own bug hotel with tips around using a drill and sanding.
Suitable for ages 8+, younger children need to be accompanied by a helping parent.
