Nathan Wallis

Tauranga Parent Centre is proud to announce that the host of the documentary “All in the Mind”, and co-host of the TV Series “The Secret Life of Girls”, Nathan Wallis, Aotearoa’s renowned neuroscience educator, is coming back to our community with another talk - Brains and Behaviour.

The last twenty years have seen an explosion of information about the brain and how it develops. We know so much more than our parents about how our brains operate. This information also informs us about behaviour management. Using the latest neuroscience findings, Nathan will shed light on simple effective ways to help your child to be co-operative and on the same team as the parents!

While Nathan has all the qualifications and academic creed, he comes from a background of being a foster child, father of three, grandfather of two and foster parent to many. He uses his trademark humour and unique “tell you how it is” style to keep you captivated, and you will walk away jam-packed with “ah-ha” moments.
