This 3 part workshop series offers a sacred s p a c e for expecting moms to grow and bond with baby & help flow through the special journey into motherhood and mindfully prepare for labour and birth.

Reserve your Sunday afternoons for you and ease into a peaceful and nurturing space designed to empower and connect with your body, your growing bubba and other expecting moms.

This is way more than a regular prenatal yoga class. Each of the 2.5 hour workshops will include a yoga sequence that can easily be customized to meet your needs, as well as prenatal breathing and relaxation techniques. Session one “body” puts greater emphasis on nourishing, accessible yoga postures that you can easily repeat at home.

Session two “bliss” focuses on calming and relaxing the mind in this special time of change. Session three “breath” equips you with essential breathing tools to support you through pregnancy, labour and birth.

No matter your trimester, fitness level or experience, this is your space to connect, learn and to be supported.

If you’ve done yoga before and would like to keep it up while pregnant, you’ll leave the workshop with a confident knowing about suitable movements, prenatal modifications and what to avoid. If you’re finding your way to the mat for the first time, be ready to fall in love with this deeply nourishing body mind practice that will meet you right where you are at.

What we provide:
– a safe space to connect with yourself, baby and a community of expecting moms
– confidentiality
– the zen environment of ‘space yoga’ with breath taking views over the wellington bays
– professional guidance of a qualified, experienced and compassionate yoga teacher
– all props: yoga mats, bolsters, blocks, blankets, eye pillows
– handouts to take home and revisit the learned practices
– warming tea to round up the afternoon

– openness and curiosity
– your own props (mat, eye pillow) if preferred
– journal and pen
– water bottle

This series is guided by Michelle dedicated full time yoga teacher and relaxation “guru”, trained in prenatal yoga and currently in her second trimester herself.
