"A Fluid Groove 5-Piece born from the West Australian coastline, Blue Child Collective's easy-flowing, conscious song craft evokes the gentle rhythms and roaring freedom of Australia’s seaside." - (Happy Mag).

It has been a full year since Blue Child Collective last touched down on NZ shores.

The time since has seen the 5-piece launch their 4th album, play a multitude of festivals and hundreds of shows around their home country of Australia, including support for the likes of Sola Rosa, The Cat Empire, Xavier Rudd, Sticky Fingers + many more, and now they’re bringing their signature "Fluid Groove" back to Aotearoa again.

Frontman Dan White will be hitting the road with Kiwi-born Emjay Angeni for five shows only, to showcase their stunning stripped back live show, featuring many unrecorded rearrangements of tunes from Blue Child's entire back catalogue.

The band's fourth release, "Wake Up To The Sound" is an appealing blend of folk, funk and jazz which both gets you up on your feet and moves you with it's oceanesque waves of emotion and beauty.
"Wake Up To The Sound" was released to very positive reviews in Australia, late last year - creating waves that have earned them a recent nomination for West Australian Music’s Best Regional Act

Sharing stripped-back, intimate versions of his band's hottest tracks, Dan White, frontman and enthusiastic collaborator, multi-instrumentalist and fingerstyle artisan, has been likened to Jack Johnson, Eddie Vedder and Xavier Rudd, but has a presence and a sound all of his own.

The Collective are quickly becoming ones to watch on the global conscious music scene - this is music with purpose.

“Blue Child Collective is connecting people through music” - (Scenstr)

With a new documentary soon to be released and the full band set to join for their next visit, this opportunity catch Dan & Emjay performing in an intimate setting is not to be missed!
