The 57th National Jazz Festival presents a fantastic programme of events in Tauranga this Easter from 18 to 21 April 2019, showcasing performances from some of the best jazz musicians from right here in Aotearoa and around the world.

Bella Kalolo: A Tribute to Aretha – Queen of Soul.

Be spellbound as NZ’s soul diva Bella Kalolo delves into the songs of Aretha Franklin. Bella and her amazing band, The Atmos, pay respect to Aretha bringing you a show that will take you back to those Aretha-classics! Get ready.

Bella is a Pacifica soul sister who has supported artists as diverse as Renee Geyer, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Dave Dobbyn, Nathan Haines, NZSO, and Chaka Khan.

She has performed internationally at Glastonbury Festival, City Of London Festival, Sydney Festival, Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta and toured the USA with J. Boog and Katchafire.
