Baby On Board – Christmas Mysteries

We know it can be tricky to get out and about with little ones, so to make life easier, parents and caregivers are invited to enjoy a Baby on Board planetarium show on our 360° screen without having to book a babysitter!

No need to worry about your noisier family members, and you’ll be welcome to duck in and out as needed. On Monday 9 December at 11.30am, we're getting into the Christmas spirit with a screening of Christmas Mysteries. We’ll start off the session with some exciting festive themed science experiments, then settle in to listen to narrator Suzy Cato explore some of the most intriguing Christmas mysteries ever.

What could the science of astronomy tell us about the Star of Bethlehem? Where did the Mars lander disappear to on Christmas Day? And how can Santa manage to reach all those good children in just one night?

Come on an out-of-this-world look at our favourite time of the year. Entry is free for children under 3 years when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are available from the Otago Museum Shop or online.
