Aroha Music Society - Spina & Benignetti Piano Duo

Eleonora Spina and Michele Benignetti will play: Saint- Saëns, Schubert and Mendelssohn.

Winners of international music competitions, these talented musicians hail from Italy and are official Yamaha Artists and we welcome them on their first New Zealand tour sponsored by Italian Institute of Culture of Sydney and the Italian Embassy of Wellington.

Their partnership as a piano duo began in 2013 and immediately received positive acclaim recording for Brilliant Classics and Sheva Collection’s Label.

They perform regularly throughout Europe and other highlights from last season include playing the debut recital at the Osaka Izumi Hall in Japan and a concert tour in South Africa, including a performance for the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival.
