Anxiety Club - Francine EP Release Show

Wellington indie dreamboats celebrate the release of their Francine EP with a special show at Caroline on Saturday 14th December.

Anxiety Club have been making fans and friends since 2016 with a sound that traverses alt-country through indie-rock. Expect floor-fillers, ballads, guitar wig-outs, sing-along choruses and LOLs.

The Francine EP finds the band in a more urgent, more guitary and more dancey mood than previous releases. Recorded at the famed Surgery Studios (Phoenix Foundation, Black Seeds) with frequent collaborator James Goldsmith (Mermaidens, Beastwars) the lean 3-track release is the band’s most immediate and exciting work yet.

Opening the Wellington show will be local legends Orangefarm.

At the end of the evening the doors at Caroline will close for the very last time. Ever. Come celebrate with the band and help farewell one of Wellington’s most beloved venues. Be on the right side of history.
