An Evening with Mike King

Mike King, 2019 New Zealander of the Year, internationally-recognised NZ comedy icon, motivational speaker and wellness educator, is coming to Tauranga to help 'break the silence' and stigma with mental health. This will be a motivational, uplifting evening taking us on a journey in Mike’s own seriously funny way.

In recent interviews on ’The Project’, Mike from his own personal experience has spoken about 'generational change' in our young children and how our language and communication becomes their inner voice; looking at those life-long impacts. Are we spending enough quality time with our kids and what does that actually mean?

'Breaking the silence' with our teenagers/young adults and how we can get them to open up and talk to us? 'Removing your mask' let the world see the real you; not perfect, no expectations or bar to live up to, just you. Looking at wellbeing for us as adults.

An event not to be missed if you or anyone you know has struggled with their wellbeing. Change can happen at any time, any age and any creed so get on top of things now. You are not alone, we are all in this race of life together.
