All Shook Up - A Rock 'n Roll Comedy

The story may be new, but the songs are all Elvis!

Inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, ‘All Shook Up’ is an hilarious, rocking tale about following dreams, opening up to love, and the power of music.

A small Midwestern town is thrown into a frenzy with the arrival of Chad, a good-looking, motorcycle-riding roustabout, who rides into town with a guitar on his back, blue suede shoes on his feet, and a song in his heart. Repressed by their conservative Mayor, the town begins to come alive once more under Chad’s influence. Lovers meet, woo, pursue, and more, all in one zany night that will change the town forever.

Who are we?
Established in 1962, Halswell Drama Group has been entertaining the Halswell Community for 57 years and is a very diverse group of people ranging from Teens to 70 years. We are known for putting on musical comedy shows that the whole family will enjoy. We are all volunteers and we do it because we love it and would love for you to come and support us, and in return, you will have a great time out.
