Bonjour and Welcome to Akaroa FrenchFest 2019. 11-13 October 2019 escape to picturesque Akaroa and immerse yourself in French culture, entertainment and romance as you celebrate Akaroa's unique history at Akaroa FrenchFest.
A whole weekend of fun activities including a Friday night street party on the waterfront with live entertainment, a living history re-enactment of The Landing of the French settlers on Saturday morning, followed by an exciting market place (Le Jour du Marche) on the Akaroa Recreation Ground.
All activities are free for the family to enjoy except the not to be missed ticketed Cabaret on Saturday night in the grand marquee. Sunday will see a Circotica Circus workshop for the children plus a circus performance to close FrenchFest 2019.
