It’s about time to have the time of our lives.

If you have been biding your time for the right moment to make something creative – your time is now!
'About Time' is a growing installation which can be seen, participated in, engaged with during the time of the Fringe Festival 2019.

'About Time', initiated by the artists of Studio 2 and members of the South Dunedin Community, aims to explore the various outcomes of unique visual artworks made in response to the idea of time through an inclusive participatory installation, happening in real time.

What began with a humble donation of a half started paper-mache grandfather clock to Studio 2, became the seed for a community based visual arts project investigating time itself.

Time is relative, as Einstien once said, and time is experienced differently by everyone! We are interested in how time can be interpreted – and what that might look like. The artists of Studio 2 will kick things off and present new work which thinks about all possibilities of ‘time’ – this work will pop up in two locations in South Dunedin, and in unrevealed locations in the city for the duration of the Fringe Festival.

As time goes on, participate and watch how these installations grow! Make your own artwork about time and add it to the installation!

This installation can also be found at Friendlink. See website for details.
